Project Ethiopia

...a brighter future for rural villagers

Project Ethiopia required many, many good quality cement blocks for the latrines of their schools and villages, but could only find poor quality made ones that contained less cement than was safe for use.  The decision was made to start their own operation for making quality cement blocks.
Land acquired and the machinery, then workers trained to operate the equipment.
So, while making over 500 blocks per day for the Project's needs, local people have heard of the good quality cement blocks being produced and have come asking if there are extra to be sold.  This has the possibility of the block-making business being a sustainable income source for the continuing work of Project Ethiopia.  Good for the Project and a great benefit to the employees who work there.
